Meow Paws: Pattern Quest — Privacy Policy
Meow Paws: Pattern Quest ("the app") is an educational app by iMango Studio ("we") that teaches software design patterns through short puzzles. This policy explains what data the app handles and why. We don't ask for your name, email or any account, and we don't sell personal data.
1. Data stored only on your device
Your progress (levels, stars, XP, discovered patterns, daily streak, achievements) and settings (sound, music, vibration, language) are saved in a file on your phone. It never leaves the device and is removed when you uninstall the app. There is no cloud save.
2. Data collected by third-party services
The app uses these Google services. They collect data automatically from your device under their own privacy policies:

3. Your choices
- Ad consent. If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, the app asks for your consent before showing personalised ads. You can change your choice any time in Settings → Ad privacy.
- Advertising ID. You can reset it or opt out of personalised ads in your Android settings (Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads).
- Deletion. Uninstalling the app deletes your local progress. Analytics data is kept by Google for up to 14 months and is not linked to your name or email. To ask us to delete analytics data tied to your device, email us (below) and we will help.
4. Children
Pattern Quest is made for teenagers and adults who want to learn how software is designed. It is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has used the app and data was collected, contact us and we will help delete it.
5. Security
Data sent to the services above is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).
6. Changes
If this policy changes, we update this page and the effective date above. Significant changes are also mentioned in the app's update notes.
